When a new update breaks features, use a version archive to restore a previous APK safely.
Android usually blocks downgrades. Uninstall the app first (back up data if needed), then install the older APK from the version archive.
The older APK must use the same developer signature. If you cannot verify the source, avoid installing an older file over the current app.
In Google Play, disable auto-update for that app if you want to stay on the older version until issues are fixed.
