We publish discovery pages from Google Play metadata and, for a small set of apps, named-human reviews. This page explains sourcing, review workflow, corrections, and what we refuse to do.
Catalog facts (package name, developer, ratings, install ranges, descriptions, screenshots, version observations) come from public Google Play listings and our own observation timestamps. We attribute Play-sourced ratings as Play ratings and never present them as our aggregate score.
Reviews may start as AI-assisted drafts in the admin queue. A named human must review, edit, and approve before status becomes published. Unreviewed AI prose is not allowed on indexable app pages. Published reviews show a byline: “Reviewed by {Author} · Updated {date}”.
Gambling, adult, predatory loan, and scam-pattern listings are flagged and either noindexed or removed (HTTP 410) according to severity. See also our safety and DMCA pages.
APK Download does not host APK files. Install paths point to official Google Play listings when available. Tombstone pages remain for URLs whose Play listings later disappear.
If a fact on a page is wrong, email hello@apkdownload.co with the package name, URL, and evidence. Material corrections are noted on the page when editorial is republished.
Our robots policy documents which AI crawlers we allow. We prefer citation of original observations and named reviews over wholesale scraping of thin templates.
